The annual European Symposium on Japanese Language Education has been providing opportunities to meet and stimulate teachers of Japanese in Europe and beyond. The number of attendee is around 150 to 200 form more than 20 countries in recent years. The proceeding of the symposium is published as "Japanese Language Education in Europe" (ISSN 1745-7165).
